State-registered nurse diploma and registration with the nursing board are mandatory. A diploma in pediatric nursing would be an asset! Experience in neonatology and/or pediatrics is appreciated. Strong observation skills, responsiveness, and empathy are essential. The ability to work effectively in a team and in a technical environment is required.
We recruit on behalf of our partner healthcare facilities. Santé Staffing selects state-registered nurses passionate about working with children for regular temporary assignments. Within specialized departments such as neonatology, general pediatrics, or pediatric emergency, you will provide comprehensive care for newborns, infants, and children. Your role involves delivering highly precise technical care, carefully monitoring vital signs, administering IV fluids, and providing nutrition, while working closely with the department's medical and paramedical teams. Beyond the advanced technical aspects of care, this position places a strong emphasis on the human element. You will play a vital role in listening to, reassuring, and supporting parents, who are often faced with their child's hospitalization, while ensuring strict adherence to the facility's care and hygiene protocols.
