Holder of the State Diploma for Educational and Social Support (DEAES), or equivalent qualification as required for the position. Experience working with children or adolescents with disabilities, ideally in a specialized educational institution (IME) or the social care sector, is preferred. Interest in educational support, leisure activities, and the implementation of adapted physical activities. Ability to propose creative, recreational, and motor activities tailored to the needs of the participants. Strong listening skills, patience, kindness, dynamism, and adaptability. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, keen observation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build trusting relationships with young people and foster their independence.
As part of our support for children and adolescents with disabilities (around Périgueux and in the Dordogne region) within a Medical-Educational Institute (IME), we are seeking an Educational and Social Support Worker (AES) to join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of the autonomy, well-being, and personal growth of the young people we support. You will contribute to their daily support, taking into account their specific needs, abilities, pace, and individualized plans. You will participate in the implementation of educational, recreational, social, and physical activities that promote self-expression, socialization, self-confidence, and skills development.
