You hold a State Diploma in Nursing and ideally have initial experience in oncology or chemotherapy. You are comfortable with: - implanted port (IPC) care; - IV insertion; - Huber needle insertion. You also have knowledge of cytotoxic agents and immunotherapies. As treatments are administered according to established protocols, you will be able to rely on a precise framework in your practice. We are looking for a registered nurse to join a day hospitalization unit (HTP) in Béziers, specializing in oncology care. Here, every patient care requires precision, vigilance, and a great deal of attention to the patients. If you enjoy technical procedures, teamwork, and days filled with varied patient care, this role could be for you! Job Description: On a daily basis, you will support patients throughout their day hospitalization and contribute to the smooth running of their treatment sessions. Your responsibilities will include: - Welcoming, welcoming, and monitoring patients; - Providing nursing care related to chemotherapy sessions; - Managing patients in rooms with implanted catheters (ICCs); - Perform IV insertions and Huber needle placement; - Administer treatments according to established protocols; - Closely monitor patients and identify any potential adverse effects; - Complete patient handovers and ensure traceability of care; - Communicate and collaborate with the medical and paramedical team. A bonus for your schedule: shifts are during daytime hours, from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm. This allows you to fully enjoy your evenings after your workday.
