Santé Staffing Médical, a firm specializing in physician recruitment, is assisting a well-structured public hospital in Southwest France with the recruitment of a Pediatrician. You will join a comprehensive department comprising: approximately 15 pediatric beds; a Level 2B Neonatology unit, including 3 intensive care beds, mother-child rooms, and kangaroo care beds; a maternity ward with approximately 1,300 births per year; a day hospital (2 beds); a pediatric emergency department open during the day; and a planned dual on-call system (neonatology/maternity/emergency). The department welcomes specialist residents, general practice residents, and junior doctors. The paramedical team is stable and experienced. Your responsibilities, alternating with other practitioners, will include: - Neonatal care (level 2B) - Inpatient care in pediatrics - Maternity ward rounds - Specialized consultations (diabetology, gastroenterology, oncology/hematology, pulmonology, allergology, nephrology, learning disabilities, etc.) - Participation in on-site on-call duties, with support from residents and equitable distribution among practitioners - Close collaboration with regional networks, child psychiatry, the CAMSP (Early Intervention Medical-Social Center), specialized surgery, and imaging with teleradiology.
