Santé Staffing Médical, a firm specializing in physician recruitment, is assisting a structured public hospital in Southwest France in recruiting an Oncologist. You will be joining an oncology department organized within an inter-hospital medical federation, comprising: - A chemotherapy day hospital (20 places + 4 beds) - Approximately 20 inpatient beds, including 4 LISP (Local Intensive Care Unit) beds - A Patient Therapeutic Education team - A second site with a day hospital (approximately 8 places) and outpatient consultations. The medical team currently consists of 4 full-time equivalent (FTE) oncologists (including a coordinator) and 3 FTE general practitioners, with a target of 9 FTEs. The department is accredited to host oncology/hematology and general medicine residents. It offers a comprehensive technical platform linked to a radiotherapy department (4 radiation oncologists, particle accelerators, dosimetric CT scanner) and a nuclear medicine platform (PET scan, scintigraphy). The facility is integrated into the regional oncology network and plays a key role in its area. Your responsibilities will include: - Patient diagnosis and follow-up consultations - Chemotherapy monitoring - Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings - Supervision of residents - Participation in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives
