For one of our clients, the University Hospital of Poitiers, we are seeking a Medical Information Physician. The Medical Information Department (SIM) at the University Hospital comprises, for the legal entity, 7.7 FTE physicians, 32.3 FTE medical information technicians (TIMs), 3 FTE data managers/scientists, and 0.5 FTE administrators. PMSI coding is fully professionalized across all sites. The SIM is also responsible for the health data warehouse (EDS), representing 3 FTEs within the aforementioned staff. Due to the departure of a physician, the University Hospital of Poitiers is currently recruiting a full-time Medical Information Physician. Responsibilities include: Training, monitoring, and supporting healthcare professionals in clinical departments regarding PMSI; Training and supervising the TIM team; Regulatory monitoring; Controlling and improving the quality of medical information; and Transmitting PMSI data to regulatory bodies. Analysis of activity (services, departments, supervisory bodies, etc.); Methodological support for data studies, particularly via the EDS (Electronic Data System); SIM (Medical Information Management) liaison for certain departments; Within the framework of the GHT (Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire - Territorial Hospital Group), the possibility of working at one of the group's sites. The Medical Information Service works closely with all departments of the institution.
