For one of our clients, a public hospital located in the East of France, we are looking for a hematologist. The Clinical Hematology Department: Equipped with new premises, the department has: - 10 weekday hospitalization beds shared between the hematology, gastroenterology and pulmonology departments - Several day hospitalization places depending on needs, currently around 10 patients/day in HDJ CHEMIO and 5 in HDJ non-CHEMIO, but the needs are increasing - An outpatient consultation sector The department currently consists of: - 1 full-time hospital practitioner Main segments of activity and functional links: - Reception of patients with benign or malignant hematological pathologies, with the exception of pathologies requiring isolation in a sterile sector (transplant, ...). The care of hematological patients works in collaboration with CHU St Louis and CHU Lille - Palliative care in collaboration with the establishment's mobile palliative care team, with the CLAN, with the follow-up care and rehabilitation sector, and with the home hospitalization service. - Performance of few technical procedures, with the exception of myelograms, osteo-medullary biopsies, the insertion of central venous catheters and bloodletting mainly. - Importance of day hospitalization where most transfusions, polyvalent immunoglobulins, iron infusion, chemotherapy, as well as assessments are carried out. - Great potential for development of the Hematology department, with an increase in admission recently, in consultations and day and week hospitalization.
