Caregiver (M/F)

Contract: Fixed-term contract Hours: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm Department: Senior Comfort Unit (16 beds) Near Saint-Gaudens We are looking for a Care Assistant (male/female) to join a facility for elderly people, within its Senior Comfort Unit, on a fixed-term contract. Your responsibilities: You will provide daily support to residents and contribute to the smooth running of the unit: Assisting residents during meals and helping them with breakfast; Distributing and clearing meal trays; Cleaning and maintaining rooms, hallways, and common areas; Maintaining the dining room and therapeutic kitchen; Managing and monitoring residents' laundry; Participating in laundry activities: washing, drying, folding, and ironing; Preparing and maintaining equipment necessary for meals and cleaning; Adhering to hygiene and traceability protocols; Reporting any anomalies observed in the rooms or common areas. You will work in collaboration with the Care Assistants and the facility team to ensure the comfort and well-being of the residents. There are 3 Care Assistants on the unit and 2 Registered Nurses in the facility. Positions are available starting in October, with a long-term fixed-term contract beginning in November, potentially leading to a permanent contract thereafter.
