We are recruiting a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for our client, a leading clinic in Montpellier. This renowned facility, recognized for its expertise, treats patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgical recovery, and neuromuscular disorders. The clinic boasts a comprehensive multidisciplinary team—specialist physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, an adapted physical activity instructor, a dietician, and a social worker—enabling personalized care through inpatient or outpatient programs. The clinic is accredited (A) by the French National Authority for Health (HAS). The position: You will assume medical responsibility for an inpatient unit of 20 patients. Your primary mission will be to design, coordinate, and manage rehabilitation programs for patients with complex neurological conditions, within a state-of-the-art technical environment. You will be joining a structured team of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians, organized around inpatient and day care units. The center notably features: - specialized technical facilities (hydrotherapy, robotic upper limb assistance, Gait Rite, walking rail, driving simulator, virtual reality, etc.) - equipment for assessing and treating muscle hyperactivity (blocks, botulinum toxin, phenolization) with ultrasound - advanced rehabilitation protocols (constraint-induced movement, LSVT, etc.) - therapeutic education programs dedicated to Parkinson's syndromes - two approved positions for medical residents.
