Division Centre-Ouest Dordogne
We are seeking a qualified or experienced healthcare assistant with solid background in the field. The ideal candidate will be caring, energetic, and attentive, with a strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to supporting residents.
Do you enjoy caring for others, working as part of a team, and having days where no two are ever the same? You've come to the right place. Here, we work in a 52-resident nursing home specializing in psychogeriatrics, in an environment designed to be pleasant, vibrant, and stimulating. A place where we take our time. A multidisciplinary team that truly works... as a team. And above all, residents who need dedicated, attentive, and compassionate professionals. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: No need for a cape or superpowers. Your daily tasks will primarily involve: Caring for residents and ensuring their hygiene and comfort. Observing, monitoring, and noticing the small changes that can make all the difference. Assisting the nurse in providing care. Ensuring a comfortable environment and making beds—yes, even the sheets need your help. Maintaining medical equipment. Communicating your observations both verbally and in writing because, unfortunately, the team's telepath hasn't been recruited yet. Welcoming and supporting residents' families. Participating in the mentoring of interns—because one day, you might be the new kid on the block. And what about meals? Here, meals aren't just: "Enjoy your meal! Here's your tray. Goodbye." You'll participate in therapeutic lunch and dinner, genuine moments of sharing, stimulation, and conviviality. Because sometimes, a shared meal, a conversation, and a little attention can do more good than you might think. And the setting? We could tell you: "A pleasant and supportive environment." But that would be a bit too cliché. So let's say instead: A place where you can work seriously without feeling like you're stuck in a care unit. A pleasant environment, a multidisciplinary team, and a project that prioritizes human connection. Your schedule? Daytime hours. Weekends to be expected. Business attire. Lots of human interaction. And probably a few coffees. (However, we cannot guarantee their temperature upon arrival.) And because, unfortunately, a love for the job doesn't pay the rent... Compensation is based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the French Federation of Private Hospitals (FHP) and your profile, with recognition of prior service. Also included: Company health insurance, 80% of which is covered by the employer.
