Santé Staffing Médical is seeking a physician (M/F) for on-call duty at a private clinic located in Bordeaux, in a modern environment with comprehensive technical facilities and experienced healthcare teams. On-call dates: Thursday, December 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM to Monday, December 28, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Occasional presence in the wards and 24/7 telephone availability are required throughout the on-call period. Compensation: €230 per night, €600 per 24-hour period on public holidays and weekends, total compensation announced: €1,430 for the weekend. Your work environment - You will be working across two departments: - General Medicine: 25 beds - Medical and Rehabilitation Care (SMR): 30 beds - Patients have diverse profiles: post-emergency, oncology, nutrition, infectious diseases, geriatrics, orthopedic rehabilitation, and palliative care. - The clinic has a full range of technical facilities including a laboratory, radiology, CT scanner, MRI, and access to surgical consultations. You will work in modern facilities with dynamic and experienced healthcare teams. Your responsibilities In General Medicine: - Make rounds on Saturday and Sunday mornings to visit the most vulnerable patients. - Speak with the emergency physician around 11:00-11:30 AM to anticipate potential admissions. - Manage in-person admissions between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. In SMR: - No admissions are scheduled during the weekend, day or night. - During the entire on-call period: - Remain reachable by phone 24/7 to respond to requests from nurses. - Nighttime life-threatening emergencies are handled by the on-site emergency physicians.
