Anesthesiologist/Intensivist (M/F)

Santé Staffing Médical, a firm specializing in physician recruitment, is assisting a leading public hospital in a desirable region of Southwest France in recruiting an Anesthesiologist/Intensivist. You will join an independent anesthesia department, part of the critical care unit and separate from the intensive care unit, comprised of 8 physicians within a stable and supportive team. The department is accredited to host residents and junior doctors, with structured supervision. The hospital boasts a comprehensive range of advanced technology: 2 MRI scanners, 2 CT scanners, a PET scanner, a surgical robot, a multi-purpose intensive care unit, an 8-room operating suite, and a cesarean section room. It also features a Level IIB maternity ward (approximately 1,500 births per year). Modern equipment and a full team of nurse anesthetists ensure seamless collaboration. The activity includes: - Complex visceral, urological, and gynecological surgery with a focus on cancer (laparoscopy and robot-assisted surgery) - Orthopedics with peripheral regional anesthesia - Endoscopy and ERCP - Obstetrics Your responsibilities: - Operating room activity (2 rooms per anesthesiologist) - Scheduled and urgent consultations (operating room and maternity ward) - Participation in 24-hour on-call shifts - Supervision of residents Attractive remuneration based on status (Reason e2).
